The family decides to squeeze in a vacation at Reaper Beach before the baby is born. Once they arrive, it quickly becomes apparent that things are not as they seem with their ideal destination. Does Morgan know more than she’s letting on?
Elizabeth finds it difficult to get a good night’s sleep with the baby kicking around. Meanwhile, a mischievous prankster is planting flowers and hanging pretty decorations much to the dismay of the monsters in the neighborhood. Can Jack and Zander get to the bottom of this and find out who this trickster is?
Decades after the events that occurred in the old Shadow Walker Swamp, a new generation is unwittingly dragged into a conflict from the past. They discover not only a lot about the history of the region but, in the case of one of them, of their own family.
When Jack and Elizabeth see what looks like a fun game show, Liz uses her connections at the station to get them on. However, it soon becomes apparent that the two are in way over their heads and may ultimately end up going home losers.
While hunting one evening, one of Jack’s victims gets the drop on him with a gun loaded with a silver bullet. To Jack’s surprise, the bullet actually manages to make a crack in his mask which sends him into a panic. Now he’ll have to confront the person who made his mask if he has any hope of getting it fixed.
A lot of little moments in this month’s issue but all of them are moments worth sharing.
Jack and Zander try an infamous drink known as the ‘Soul Crusher’ with interesting results. Jack gets a new boomerang which he promptly loses (Where it went is anyone’s guess). And Morgan is given the chance to choose the family’s vacation destination but there’s a catch (isn’t there always?).
